Terms of Service

Last updated: 6/10/2026

1. Who you are contracting with

YardOps ("the Service") is provided by Leadership by Design ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The Service

YardOps is a software-as-a-service platform that helps yard, garden, and landscaping professionals manage customers, jobs, scheduling, invoicing, and related operations.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or have authority to bind your organisation. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes;
  • send spam or unsolicited communications;
  • infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • introduce malware, probe, scan, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of the data you enter; you grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the Service.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Subscription billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Checkout / Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy.

7. Service level

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by you to Paddle for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Paddle. On termination, we will provide a reasonable export window before deleting your data.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Leadership by Design is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
